Question 1:
Is the resort on the beach?
Answer:
The resort is situated directly by the beach at Cofresi, near Puerto Plata. The hotel accommodation is closest to the beach with the residence suites and Crown villas situated a little further away but all are within walking distance.
Question 2:
Is it a timeshare resort and do I have to attend a presentation?
Answer:
No it is not a timeshare resort. The resort does have a vacation club which offers special privileges but it is your choice whether you wish to attend the presentation.
Question 3:
How do I get to the resort?
Answer:
As guests of a Lifestyle member you will have free return airport transfers if you fly to Puerto Plata airport.
Question 4:
Which other airports are near to the resort and do you provide transport airport transfers?
Answer:
Santiago is the only other airport close to the resort. We do offer a transfer service but there is a fee of $75 per voyage. This service covers a minibus for up to 6 persons with luggage. Travel time from Santiago is just over 1 hour.
Question 5:
What do I do on arrival at the airport?
Answer:
On arrival at the airport you will be required to fill a customs and immigration form and have your passport ready for inspection. You will also be required to pay $10 per person arrival tax and obtain a tourist card. After passing through customs and immigration you will proceed to the luggage collection area. Once you have received your luggage, go outside the terminal building and look for your Lifestyle representative directly outside the door. He will be carrying a Name Card. You will then be taken directly to the resort.
Question 6:
How do I arrange my return to the airport at the end of my vacation?
Answer:
To arrange your return transfer to the airport, contact the Lifestyle Customer Service Office a couple of days prior to your departure from the resort. There is a $20 per person departure tax fee payable at the airport.
Question 7:
Are the VIP extra amenities available to all accommodations?
Answer:
Yes, regardless of which accommodation you stay in, you will receive a gold VIP wristband on arrival at the resort which entitles you to full use of all the VIP bars and Gourmet restaurant and all other privileges that all members receive. You and your party will be treated as members for the duration of your stay.
Question 8:
Are there any additional fees other than accommodation and all inclusive costs?
Answer:
The only other mandatory costs other than accommodation and all inclusive fees are flights, airport arrival/departure taxes and any phone calls made from your accommodation.
Question 9:
What does the All inclusive fee cover?
Answer:
The all inclusive fee covers all meals and drinks in the resort restaurants and bars (locally produced alcoholic drinks) and all the VIP bars and restaurant (internationally branded spirits, liquors, wines/champagne, cocktails etc).
Question 10:
Will I receive a Golf Cart?
Answer
We can now guarantee a Golf Cart for all villa rentals for $200 per week. This fee also includes free Premium drinks at the villa and free Ocean World entrance tickets ( worth $55 each). Golf carts are not usually provided for other accommodations unless for medical reasons.
